Vindolanda: Fired for Hope

Every piece in this collection was fired in our reconstructed Roman kiln at Vindolanda during a special charity event supporting Breast Cancer Now, helping fund research into better treatments and a future with fewer lives lost to breast cancer. Inspired by ancient traditions of healing, protection and hope, these objects range from votive offerings to vessels associated with nourishment and recovery. Not all represent finds from Vindolanda, but each was chosen for its connection to our theme of healing and hope.
