Miniature Palaeolithic Figure Pendent

Details
This little pocket-sized Palaeolithic beauty can go with you anywhere. She is inspired by the Woman of Willendorf, who is often associated with an Earth Mother figure. Small figurines of women have played an enormous part in our history and have been found throughout Europe. The earliest known fired clay objects are figures from the area around Dolni Vestonice in the Czech Republic, including the figure of the Woman of Dolni Vestonice, who you can see here in our online shop.
This figure has a hole pierced through her to allow her to be worn as a pendant or hung somewhere special. Please be advised that due to her being ceramic, she is fragile and should not be worn if you are likely to do any activity that might result in her breaking.
Materials
Smoke fired Terracotta
Dimensions
Approx 50mm tall
Variations
When choosing a colour variation, please be aware that due to the firing process, the colour and mottling vary with each Venus, giving each one its own individual character.
